As usual, the prestigious institution, Rangaraya Medical College gave a hearty welcome to a new batch in 2011 . It is the batch which could move on with seniors with the least possible ragging ( it isn't ragging exactly but a sort of interaction ) for the past few years during which the college witnessed a drastic slump in the ragging . I can say that it will be a truth if i say, 'ragging would have made us much closer' . Its a new way for the seniors to approximating to juniors with all those decrees and absurd speeches from some of the officials . It wont be a sudden change anyway and i guess there is some sort of disadvantage to the earlier batches of juniors whether anyone accepts it or not . The fall in the percentages is an easy way to mark it and not to forget those days when the juniors were still afraid of their seniors after clearing their first year subjects .

Whatever is the past, the present and the future, the celebrations do rock at Rangaraya medical college's famous auditorium . There will be an ignition with a full throttle . This time the party lasted much longer than the previous year's and also provided a great dosage of fun and frolic to the professors, seniors and the freshers too. Mmmm..., to be frank, very few freshers are tense at the party . This time it was organized by the most capable and agitated batch (ours) in its M.B.,B.S. tenure, THE SPECTACULAR SPARTANS . It is the joint effort of the batch after their "pulse" tour . They are as they were again, with an excellent work (along with some internal stirs) . This work, pivoted by the trio of professors, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Dr. AppalaNaidu and Dr. SuryaKumari received applause from many professors and students . The principal of the college, being at the first celebration in the college in his reign, was happy too . The only minus being the dissatisfaction in a professor, nevertheless the program is a tremendous success .

The new batch, "ELIXIRS" by their name shall face the basic trio of the course, namely, anatomy-physiology-biochemistry around which the remaining subjects revolve . Wishing them good luck on behalf of my batch and putting before them the target of acquiring as many clearings as possible with the least possible backlogs (referreds) . Ours is the best batch in my knowledge, with a first clinical year strength of 142. It should be a challenge for you to raise the number .

A new academic year, a new college and with the new faces all around the classroom probing me, i have entered the room and found myself a comfortable seat in the second column of first row from left. Then i could take a glance of the world around me. Two guys, whom i already knew were sitting at the back. "Its their routine", i thought in my mind. Some gave me a pleasing smile, some a careful & probing glance & the rest, i thought they were "not aware of me yet". At the dawn of the first class after the teacher has stepped in, he had asked the new ones to introduce ourselves to the class. After the introduction was over, he slid into his teaching mode. As usual (i didn't knew that then) he asked students to getup and read the paragraphs one after the other. He asked me to start the lesson first. Startled by this, i reached the podium slowly and allowed my anxiety to come down. To my relief, it was just one page thick and i finished it before he has asked my neighbor to continue.Later he picked up some other students randomly and finished the lesson, afore leaving the class when the bell rang.

After a couple of classes, there was a short break. It was then i could recognize the twin faces beholding me, the two guys in the same bench i has chosen this morning are eagerly waiting for me to open my mouth. I introduced myself again and copied my timetable. I was glad that we all had common timetable, (also one boy among the two familiar faces at the rear).For three peaceful days, i have managed to mingle with as many students i could. (I am poor at talking to strangers & i hardly mingle with anyone). I knew what i couldn't observe all these days are those people who were away from us for some language periods and other optionals except one boy who was the fourth lad of our bench. I could manage to know some of his close circle. Of the ones who he had introduced me was a lass, who shares a couple of my genres. Firstly, i could recognize that she was the one among the three new students to the class that year and secondly, she too was a type of "i don't speak" like me. But, he said that she has changed a lot and has begun opening her mouth. I don't know whether the simple smile she gave me was earlier or the way she did ogle at me was. I couldn't open my mouth facing her but i could hear the pounding in my chest. I did not know the reason but i liked her very much.

She did not look at me again for many days but there was no single day i did not wanted to talk to her. Its routine for me for all these years that the thing i liked very much always was away from me. I did not get a chance to talk to her the entire year.

The days passed on and the next year i could not believe that she was again in my class, this time sitting in the bench beside mine. And i have all the reasons to blame myself that i could never talk to her. To my resentment, later i had come to know that she has hooked up with her childhood friend a few days earlier. What can i do?, besides blaming myself. "That guy was touring south america, their family moves there every monsoon",said the guy who introduced her to me. "Perhaps, he could be rich, perhaps he could be a stud", i thought in my mind and i could feel a thorne in my throat dropping into my stomach. I have lost control over myself and ultimately the miserable performance in my finals woke me up. Later, i have stopped worrying however. (i was gifted with a soul which ignores the things that trouble me much)

I was happy with my routine except with the twins. I didn't have any problem with them any day but it was the nights they worry me a lot, absconding from the parties and many other fun times. They were among the few people who form my closest circle. I know that i was their best friend and they never try to hide anything from me (But none missed them as much as me). It was on one of my friend's birthday that they started to their home as the dusk was vanishing (as usual). I wanted to talk to their parents and i had set off in silence behind them, unnoticed. They never allowed or invited anyone to their place. I could not keep up with them. They are almost running and i was finally bewildered to see them flying into thick greens on the bank of the river from the bridge across the river. I could not sleep that night. The next day i was delayed to the class. Despite tired by the brisk walk & sleepless previous night, i was curious to see the twins sitting there as usual. They wished me in the same old manner. It was during the lunch, when we were alone i ordered them to take me to their home to finish a project i was doing with them. As usual, they turned down my order for no reason.

"Should one has to know how to fly to come with you?"i asked. It sounded stupid but i just cant keep it with me. I could see the doubt in their face. "I followed you yesterday night", i was wondered that i was fearless.

They probed their faces for sometime and then mine. "You didn't do that.. you just cant do that", they whispered one after the other.

"Yeah! you were right. I couldn't follow you from the bridge", the amplitude of my voice was now low. "I think all the time that i was your friend. And you never treated me as your friend", i was furious.

"DON"T - BE - STUPID"one of the twins seemed to lose his temper."If there is anyone more than a friend to us, its you"the other retorted.

"Then please tell me ... if you ever cared for me", i remained furious.

"Okay! I promise you i would tell you everything once the today's dusk vanishes away ","at the bridge you have seen us last, yesterday night" the twin who stayed calm continued,"you have to swear us, you shan't unveil this to anyone".

"I do!"i whispered.

That night i went to the bridge and was surprised to see that the bridge was clear off the traffic like the previous night. The bridge was rarely free of traffic during the day as well as night unlike these two nights. I could hear the thumping of my heart & then i saw a pair walking towards me from the other side the bridge as if they have appeared from air on the mid portion of the bridge. I could not move my jaws, they were partly parted away as they started narrating their story. They said that they were not complete humans, their souls are partly ripped off their bodies by aliens on the midnight their parents were killed in an accident on the mid portion of the bridge, when they were infants. The car flew into the forest beside the river and they fell out of the car before it blew off. Then some people rushed out of a giant saucer performed some rituals on the infants. They said their body structures change during night. I was frightened by their bodies. They were white skinned with reduced size of face and large orbits with black eyes. They grew a pair of wings along with the 4 limbs. The wings resemble those of bats but are white. They said they were grown at an ashram and the changes started from the night they attained puberty. The people of ashram did not know the fact.

They feed on blood of all kinds of wild animals and beasts. The crumbling populations were tempting them to shift to domestic animals and livestock. They were the FLYING HUMANOIDS, they said "they were plenty of our kind, mostly the survivors of the accidents clashing with the visits of aliens. We are transparent to all the radiation when we are what we are, during night. And humans cannot feel us if we did not want to. And we do not die if we did not want to".

ALL OF ONCE I SHUDDERED AND OPENED MY EYES AND FOUND MYSELF LYING ON MY THICK BLANKET ON THE FLOOR...!

The days passed on and on. I was enjoying the company of the twin humanoids. We used to gather and do loads of silly things during nights. Later on, i was happy that i could ignore that girl. But, on a rainy day when i was returning to hostel from library, i saw her waiting for the rain to stop outside the library. I could not control my mind and my eyes turned to her. To my surprise, she gave the same smile she has given me when we faced each other the first time. But her eyes has no traces of the familiar glitter i felt for the last time. She appeared annoyed and tired. Later, i found out that she broke up with her boyfriend.(i didn't know whether i should jump or feel sorrow for her condition)I heard that,"her boyfriend has become insane after returning from a tour to south america . He started frightening her and always trying to attack her when ever she goes home. So she was staying back at hostel and was not going home in holidays. Also her family was going to shift here as they too were troubled by him. They found this town as the only safe place to live in".The twins who were visiting my room regularly were aware of this fact. We planned many things to drive the insane totally mad if he comes here. They know my feelings towards her and they were poking me to take an advantage. But i know about me.

Meanwhile, they told me to be alert when we roam during nights . They said that they saw some strange beast a couple of months ago. It was a bloodsucking monster, feeding on any larger animal with adequate amounts of blood. They were afraid that it may feed on me. They have just two encounters with that monster. The first time they have observed its every move and senses. Thus, they tried to attack it during the second time but it had a miraculous, narrow escape. I remembered its funny name what they said was a "CHUPACABRA" . They said it can spread a virus which can infect the humans when they were attacked. "If the humans survive its attack they have every chance of transforming into a monster of its kind. And we humanoids love to hunt them as they were our most favorite & rare prey",a twin continued,"the monster's next visit to the place will be its final visit to a place on the earth".

I couldn't believe in myself that i , by myself started moving closer to her.

She was more talkative than i was. I loved to listen whatever she said. Hardly, she was happy for longer periods and she was moving to sorrow from every topic. I tried so much to make her feel better. Finally, i demanded her to narrate her misery which moved me very much. Her boyfriend was a nice and handsome guy (rich too, she didn't mention it) . She doesn't understand the main reason for his abusing, erratic behavior at a prom night after his return from his last tour, during which he lost his family in a mysterious accident in dense forests. He was stable at first, but later he grew wilder and tried to rip the overall she was wearing. She escaped from him that night and reached home. Later, he tried to attack her twice at home. So she stayed back at hostel to avoid him. He attacked her home twice and he called her up later and his voice was much coarser and he was speaking all about spending a night with her and biting her to lead a happy life with her. All that i could do is to console her. I have informed the same to my humanoid friends. They too felt bad and did not speak much about that.

A week later, i accompanied her to buy some books and we stayed awhile at the store as it was raining cats and dogs. Meanwhile, i wondered seeing the guys behind us giggling at something. I turned my head to peek over my shoulder and was astonished to see the twins behind us. I had not seen them any where in the store till now. She too peeked over her shoulder and i could guess her reaction. We wished them and set off along the road ahead under the umbrellas the twins brought. Added to my astonishment they have invited us to a shack amidst the way to our hostels saying that it was their uncle's place. They have not mentioned to me at least once about their relatives despite my regular interrogations. The shack was spacious enough to be organised into a hall and a kitchen. It has a cabin made of stainless steel, which appeared purposeless. All of us entered the cabin as it occupied most of the shack and was well decorated.

"Perhaps, he has gone out on some work",a twin said moving towards a table " lets have some tea"and he opened a flask on the table.

"Not a cup for u" he said over his shoulder to me. Yes, they know i hate tea. Then the twins called me out after asking her to stay back in the cabin.

Once we are out, the twins hurried in their words "we are going to have an excellent prey tonight, the whether brings it here this time". The other one stated "truly its not just whether, its also after the lass in the cabin"

"WHAT DOES IT MEAN?..."i thought,

"u say the chupp...!!!" i ended.

"Yes...chupacabra is here tonight. And this is gonna be its last visiting place on the earth", they retorted.

"And what the work it has with the girl inside the cabin?.... "i asked.

A twin replied "the boyfriend has come here this night to bite his love to lead a happy life with her."

"To infect her her?"i couldn't think of it.

"Exactly! just recall what u heard of him, monsoon tours to south america" the twin continued "and he returned in grief of loss of his parents and as the monsoon here has been prolonged for a while, he remained himself. Actually the virus ends up its incubation period afore monsoon and enters latency after the monsoon".

The other twin started "its better if you stay back in the steel cabin, steel is known to be repellent to the monster as it burns the skin of the monster and drills into its flesh".

I obeyed their order and went inside the cabin. I saw her startled and drowned in perspiration."He came here, he reached the window and tried to break it. And he moved away. Perhaps, he might break into this cabin"she was shivering. I tried to console her and narrated her the monster boyfriend story. She was shocked and i didn't know why but she appeared beautiful to me even in such a situation.

I comforted her and requested her not to ask any questions but to relax. After a couple of hours, the twins returned into the cabin. I could see a scab on the neck of a twin and an abraded elbow of the other. I ran to them and they appeared highly satisfied despite the injuries. They too sat down and later narrated the humanoid and chupacabra versions. She seemed relaxed now and said "i feel it like a dream...all the monsters and preys". "Please help me to the hostel"she asked me. We returned back to the hostel and i was very glad to spend such a long time with her.

"GOOD NIGHT"...she wished me after promising that she was not going to reveal the humanoid twins story to anyone.

"HMM..GOODNIGHT,.. SWEET DREAMS" i replied.

"NO DREAMS"she whispered.

After one week, (i didn't propose her yet, i have every reason to blame myself) i am leaving to home for holidays and i have reached the railway station. I bought my ticket at the kiosk and was going on to the platform when a guard stopped me. He just inquired my details while walking with me. He advised me to take the first left instead of second (that usually contained the main entrance) due to some repair works. I took first left and i was surprised to see the hearing was going on regarding the prime minister's murder. My mobile vibrated in my pocket and i picked up the call observing the hearing of the case.

"hello, Yeshwanth where are you?"i wondered after recognizing the voice of my (girl)friend.

"Hey i am at the railway station, i am at the hearing of prime minister case"... then i could feel a huge rock dropped into my stomach. "what am i saying...."i thought...

Meanwhile she screamed.... "What the hell are you doing at the PM's hearing and why does the hearing occur on a railway platform?..come back..!"

ALL THE CHARACTERS OF HEARING LOOKED AT ME ONE AFTER THE OTHER AND I COULD NOT MOVE ANYMORE.

Then i woke up again with a shudder . The time was 8:30 am and i am sitting on the floor of my room on a thick blanket. I am 2 weeks away from my M.B.,B.S.-II final exams and i couldn't tell about my (this) dream to anyone but i have been recollecting it every morning so that i wont forget this....

Karanam culture, especially in Andhra Pradesh, is associated with Niyogi Brahmins. People from this culture could be seen as clannish. They are reluctant to form matrimonial alliances with people outside of their own caste. In some cases marriage with first-cousins is perfectly acceptable, even recommended.

They have common festivals which are celebrated by Brahmins, but Karanams, unlike the rest of the Brahmins, were warriors, administrators, ministers, reformers in pre-independent colonial India i.e. more like the Samurai of Japan.Typically, Niyogi Brahmins take on secular vocations such as the Karanam position, which is a highly esteemed position in villages because Karanams are tantamount to upwardly mobile members of the village i.e. aristocrats. Historically, the Karanam position is patrilineally passed down from father to eldest son and this position stays within the family. But in the early 1980s, N.T. Rama Rao, a prominent actor and politician, mandated that the Karanam position be rescinded. In place of a Karanam, he established a Mandal officer position which is granted based on merit and scholarship, not based on caste thereby giving opportunity to people from any caste to contest for such a position.

Karanam culture also has roots in Kayastha of North India. Kayastha believe they are descendants of Chitra Gupta. Accounting is the main profession for Kayastha. Like Kayastha, most Karanams in Andhra Pradesh are the head village accountants for their respective villages.

In holidays , our family makes regular outings . My father always wishes to plan a tour to some sacred place . In a summer break , we had planned to visit Shiridi . We started at Hyedrabad after staying there a couple of days at our relatives' house . We catched the tourism bus in the evening . Only after crossing the busy city roads , we could enjoy the journey .

We reached our destination early in the morning & got a room registered in the tourism hotel . Everyone of us started to groom ourselves as the darshan time is coming closer . There was a hospital beside the hotel in which we were staying . I saw a child whose cot lies parallel to one of the windows of our room . He looked healthy but was deprived of the natural glow in his face . 'Perhaps , he has some chronic disease which is progressing with time' , i thought . I didn't observe him much in my first time as there was no time & we were in a hurry . We roamed here & there after our darshan & reached our room in the night .

We were busy in starting to nearby places on the next 2 days . We were staying at room only at night & in the mornings . It was in the third morning , i was astonished by my strange observation . I saw the face on the wall losing its margins . And the condition of the child had worsened . He neither was able to get up from his bed nor was eating the food . I was under the shower [in the first morning] when i had observed a patch on one of the walls of the bathroom beside the ventilator . It took the form of a human face & was very clear as if it was an artificial work . Now, it was fading off & had lost its margins .

In the next two days , the patch was increasingly disappearing . I saw the child suffering very much . On that night , i tried very much to stop my tears when the child was struggling in the ICU & the parents , almost hopeless , were unable to express their grief . Before my bed , i tried to increase the contrast of the face with water , with a meaningless hope . I forced myself to bed as we were departing from that place early in the next morning . I didn't open that window this time . Infact , i am not bold enough to do that , after failing to find the patch which had vanished away from the wall .

I couldn't enjoy my return journey . When ever i sleep , the face was disturbing me again & again throughout our journey . This had haunted me for a week . 'Alas ..! its fate ', i thought . Whereafter , when i came across such a wall with a patch , it reminded me "the face on the wall".

hi frns .... the first 19 years of my life have raised many doubts in me .....

after i had gone through infancy , childhood , adolescence & teenage ..... mixed with my schooling & life at college , i found myself in an unstable state with many thoughts & many more doubts roaming inside my cranium .

yep .... i am revealing a few of them here .... so that i can get some of my doubts solved [by u].
Please clarify me if u can ....

1] We have changed a lot between our childhood & the present day . Now we are YOUTH .., we say . Very often we do not hear & obey our elders' words . Once upon a time , they understood what our thoughts were when we had not uttered our first words & now we say ... U CAN'T UNDERSTAND ... just think of it once ... are we right ?

2] SCHOOLING is an excellent period in the life of everyone though it contains many monday morning blues & weekend pinks . We miss it so much once we come out & join in some college . The life at the latter has a lot of variation with the one at school . Am i correct ..?

3] In the intermediate course , as we all know there is hardly any time to enjoy as the days progress . The milling , crushing & crashing process ends with an entrance examination . Is there any student who enjoyed this whole period to optimum levels ?

4] The professional college is the actual place where we start to learn "how to live". Life at this stage experiences many angles & gives us a reserve knowledge .... the EXPERIENCE . This will be useful in our future . Everything is precious here .... friends , relationships within our family & with our contemporaries , tutors & mentors . We can almost read people around us . Anyone disagrees with this ...?

5] Almost everyone of us stay longer with our friends than with our family members at this stage . So there is no doubt ... our pals know us better than our parents & others do . Often , our habits change & we acquire new ones . But we dont try to reveal those before the elders at our house .

6] We haven't crossed the stage of living in a world of imagination yet , did we ? OK ... here are some words for the lads ... "At this stage , the psyche of girls is more stable than ours . They think in a better way in maintenance of relationships with the opposite sex than we do . Even at this stage , i saw guys who couldn't differentiate between love & attraction . So , its better for us , if we do not commit to any ... now. Please wait for 3to4 years to turn . Your future is always in your hands ."

7] I saw many boys & girls around me . I feel pity for the behaviours of some of them . I saw some individuals[ especially girls ] becoming victims of vanity . I didn't understand the prime reason for this . They are still learning ... isn't it ? They dont talk to others in a normal way & there are some who doesn't talk with certain people at all . Very often they form groups . Getting a seat in some prestigious institute is not enough to live the remaining part of your lives . Then why did you let the vanity to take you under its control.....
There are many others who remain unaltered .... both boys & girls . I am sure they will never have a fall .

xtasy 2009 , the culturals & the college day celebrations for the current academic year in the prestigious Rangaraya medical college have concluded on this 8th . Well ., this had ended the commotion in the college as well as in its students , dragging them to their normal duties .

The Spectacular Spartans of the college has something to cheer up in the culturals . They are the runners up & the only batch that gave a tough fight to the ronins [ the organisers of the culturals ] . After a miserable performance in the sports , they prooved their spectacularity in the culturals . Not to forget , this is the first time the spartans put up an active participation in the culturals .

The medics [PGs to freshers] took part in as many as 52 cultural events with zeal & enthusiasm . The culturals definitely , are the golden chances for the participants to give up their best & proove themselves . The cultural events extracted the hidden creativity in the medics , showing the proof that they are not just the readers .

Undoubtedly , there is no other college that celebrates its cultural period over such a vast period as done by the rocking royal Rangaraya medical college . October & the first week of november [approx.] are the bustling days in the calender of the college besides the exam times . Everything had concluded as the 24th hour of the day [nov8th]departed . Even before we wanted to resume our duties , we heard a call from the APJUDA , to participate in the agitation demanding hike in the stipends . It has got an active support statewide & raised a new thorn in the seat of the chiefminister . The strike is going on & what ever it turns out , the rangarayans have been experiencing an amalgam of feelings for the past few weeks .

I wish these days remain everlasting in the memory centers of the medics . COLLEGE LIFE ROCZZZZZ.......

The Story Of A Forgotten Poet

Long ago , there was a poet who lived in a villa at 25th street in sanjeevinagar of Kharagpur . Born in a rich family , he was brought up well . He had a good schooling & higher education . He gave up his practice as a lawyer . He lost his parents in an accident when he was 26 . He remained a bachelor & was lived by none . He started writing poems . He wrote on nature , country , humanity .

When he was 35 , being fed up with his own work & daily routine , he wanted to do something ... something that pays for the purpose of the life he lived & he will be remembered for atleast some generations . It was then , he started writing on the sorrows of the life & the death . He wrote about all that he wanted to . And his ultimate work was "my suicide trials" , his master piece it was . This contained the description of his feelings on his various attempts to kill himself . In his first attempt , he hung himself to the roof of his bed room ....but , he escaped from the death . His servant saved him & he was admitted to the hospital . It was then he started writing his ultimate work . In the second attempt , the poet had injured his wrist with a knife ... a deep cut . Slowly he started losing his consciousness & finally lost it . It was again his servant , who saved him . Then he wrote on his feelings on losing the blood progressively , becoming ischaemic ,...

He was again admitted to the hospital for the third time when he swallowed a hand full of sleeping pills . This time he was in a hotel , with his notepad lying beside his head , with a note requesting the reader to admit him to a hospital . He finished writing the part three before writing the note . Attempting for the fourth time , he slept on a racing track , when he was run over by a race car . He wrote about his feelings as the car approached him & again when he survived the injuries . The people around him were astonished at his insane behaviour . He was warned by the local magistrate . He was the only man who knows the reason behind his strange acts . Next time , he didn't wanted to disturb the world any more .

On a rainy evening , he paid his servant the last sum he had to . He himself did the arrangements for his dinner that night & had started his supper . To the dishes , he had added some salt & pepper to his taste along with the powder of arsenic . First , he started ingesting the stuff . Then , he started describing the taste of arsenic & its immediate effects . He continued eating & describing his conditions . Finally he couldn't finish that poem . He breathed his last ... death laid his icy hands on him . One can expect those lines what the poet couldn't finish ... his journey in unconsciousness towards death . He became popular after his death when his poems came into the limelight . And the last episode ... the arsenic meal ... was his master piece .

There are poets who gave up their lives for their poems , trying to inform something to the people . The poet in the above story is one among them . May his soul rest in piece .

He had disproved their theory with his own findings. The irony is that others with similar discoveries got the Nobel and even many of those who took forward his own discoveries got the award.

my first year at d medical college

After crossing d eamcet hurdle , the bipc students who secured good ranks get enrolled into some medical college . The situation is the same with me . The sri chaitanya had polished me for a span of 2 years , but i found many lapses in my preparation & my biological clock was totally disturbed . I wonder now that i dont know even the names of the most of movies released during that period .I MISSED my target finally . People around me said that it was not uncommon in my stream & many tried 2 console me . But i stayed away from all that [ i was away from the phone for a couple of months ]. Who likes such a kind of feelings showering on them . As usual , joined the long term coaching . Its not just a long term but a very very long term . This time i planned the entire thing in my own way , i studied , relaxed , enjoyed , roamed well & slept for more hours [...many dont believe in my words but that is true] . Finally secured a good rank & got seat with a little disappointment.
My first day in the medical college was really a different one in my life . For the first time , i had such a sudden & prolonged rise in my acetylcholine levels . It effected my gut , heart & general circulation . A new place... a new college ... a new subject ... the first day in a new kind of class & i am d only student sitting there up to 915 am [ 9 am is the exact time ] . Just imagine .....
The first day saw only 8 out of 132 admitted students attending the class . After a small lecture at the anatomy department we were asked 2 disperse . I went home with my father [he accompanied me on that day]. I found myself comfortable that night than the previous one . The dawn followed & i went 2 college on the second day with a cool mind but i had faced the same situation again & the attendance was just 6. This time it was the physiology dept.'s lecture . After that v headed towards the main gate . Then the thing had begun....SENIORS n the INTERACTION . 2 seniors on a bike searching for us spotted us at one of the cross roads en route to the main entrance . In the next scene , they were taking us to the men's hostel . By gods sake , i saw my father in the road heading the hostel , coming from hostel . So... ha ha .... i escaped .

The classes began from the third day ... it was a monday . I came back 2 yzag that sat & again attended the classes on wed . From that day ... every thing was normal ... irregular classes, regular bunks, finding hideouts in the way to college, seniors & interaction with them...new clsmates n new friends etc etc. The days ran very fast . All that what we were doing the most of the time was staying indoors ... either in the college or in the room. Whenever we were spotted out side , we were caught n ragged . I escaped most of the times saying something to our seniors . I didnt tell even my classmates that i was staying at a room , till jan .

Meanwhile , the internal exams turned up . The first year has 3 main subjects , namely , anatomy , physiology & bio chemistry , besides the embryology , histology, neuroanatomy, genetics & general anatomy. However , the internals were taken lite by everyone . For the first time , i had appeared for an exam with minimum preparation .. wrote the exam .. Soon after the first internals were over i noticed one thing in me .. " i was a little tensed regarding my preparation before my exams but i was not at all tensed after writing them ... i mean .. about results ". I heard that the papers will not b corrected by the faculty members ... not at all.. .
The bi0chem dept, surprisingly, had corrected them & placed the results in the dept notice board . There was a big rush , pushing , pulling as if the fans of mega star awaiting his movie release . Every one was giggling watching at their marks ... gone are the days when we felt bad for losing half a mark. Every one was happy either for being passed or his neighbour passed copying from him & he failed or scored less than him . I am among those few who scored 30+ & no doubt i was very happy .

We used to bunk the classes whenever a festival came on fri , sat , mon or tues... & before the exams . The physiology classes were the most interesting [we enjoyed well] ... a few listen the biochem classes & here all are busy at their own works ... anatomy dept was the most dangerous one . We cant do what ever we want in the anatomy class & have to maintain pin drop silence . But i had enjoyed the dissection very well . We had dissected the ENTIRE HUMAN BODY . Every one enjoyed & enjoyed all the months up to may. YO maan .....its summer break. The SRI CHAITANYA still remembered us . Its the eamcet time again. We were called to motivate the young robots being trained by them ... the students going to face their eamcet this year.Yah..! v chit chatted with them ... shared some of our experiences at medical college with them . After the summer break was over, seniors became closer to us .... its june.... preparations for third internal exams , internal practical exams , records thats it ...it was the quickest of all months of the academic year. Then came the july.... the hardest of all.... the final theory exams. I had never prepared for exams in such a DIE HARD manner in my past . The only biggest mistake i had done is ... " having 2 weeks of time for preparation... i came home 2 prepare". [ I know i cant read at home because i do visit it occasionally] . Its really a risky decision . It cost me a week .... in that week... i could hardly turn 5 or 6 pages in anatomy. I packed my books immediately & returned to Kakinada . Then i started my exam preparation with a week away from exams. I had never spent so many sleepless nights in my past . The exams began ... in that span of about 12 or 13 days ... i remember ..."i slept for around 5 hours". U believe it or not ... thats true..

I know every one does the same in the last week , but i am the only fool who went home though the time was tough . Now i cant go into the past & change it ... all that i can do is to see that doesn't repeats again & suggest my juniors not to do that .OHK.....past is past... leave it . My hard work had secured me 70% in the exams . I am satisfied with what i got . Now i am the SENIOR .
